New Members Info

Now that you’re a member of 100 Women Who Care (you are a member right? Did you register online?), you are part of a force of women committed to change our community and surrounding area.

As a new member, there are some important things you should know before your first meeting.

Let us know if you are coming!

We require an updated RSVP Form by the ONE WEEK prior to each meeting RSVP deadline. If your attendance selections change we completely understand, and ask you complete this same form to update prior to each meeting by the required deadlines.

*If you aren’t able to attend one of the meetings, your RSVP and donation will trigger an electronic link for the proxy voting ballot to be sent to you*

Have you made your annual donation?

Due at the 1st meeting of the season or your first meeting as a member, we require an up-front annual donation made one of the following ways:

  1. 4 Post-Dated Cheques ($100 each = $400 total) at 1st Mtg or dropped off attn Jane at Airdrie Eyecare
  2. E-transfer on or before mtg EMT deadline – 100womenwhocareairdrie@gmail.com with password “100wwca”
  3. Cash brought to 1st Mtg or dropped off attn Jane at Airdrie Eyecare
  4. OR if those options aren’t feasible for you please contact us before the meeting to arrange alternative options.

You DON’T have to be a member to attend our networking sessions and meetings.  We always welcome new members, so if you have a friend who would like to join they can sit in at a meeting and can register at the event if they would like a ballot to vote that evening!

100% of funds donated go to the selected charities/not for profits!

We do not take an administrative fee. We all believe in the importance of giving back.

Nominating a charity is for members ONLY*

We send you the link in our membership newsletters that you should receive starting 4 weeks before a meeting. If you are NOT receiving your newsletter, please contact us.

We take your privacy very seriously!

We have our selected charities agree not to share or store your contact information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. If you are contacted by a charity after a meeting other than to receive your tax receipt, please let us know immediately.
